A man-made stone, goldstone, and its other color varieties, is nonetheless still a stone of mystery and wonder. While the manufacturing processes trace back definitively to 17th century Italy, goldstone appeared in some amulets at least 400 years earlier.

Blue goldstone, a great third-eye and throat chakra stone, assists in communication, healing, and learning. It is especially helpful for new beginnings and for expressing one's authenticity to the world.
